On September 8th The Art of Leadership Sponsored by Microsoft returned to Calgary (regardless of the snow) for another sold out, inspiring event! This year’s lineup included: Former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, Canada’s favourite Astronaut, Col. Chris Hadfield, 4x Olympic Gold champion Hayley Wickenheiser and Bestselling Authors: Dan Roam and Dr. Vince Molinaro.

The morning started off great with a huge buzz around the speaker lineup and what the day would hold. Many thanks to Bruce Sellery for hosting our event!

First up was Rudy Giuliani to speak on his experience as a leader during one of the hardest times in American history. Giuliani educated through his personal experience that created a learning style which resided with everyone in the room:

Last, but definitely not least was Hayley Wickenheiser. She spoke on her experience with her teammates throughout the years and her gold medal journey at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. Hayley transferred her experience into learnings the whole audience could take away from. Hayley was so well received by the audience at our inaugural event: The Art of Leadership for Women in Toronto that we at The Art Of knew she needed to return to the stage in our other key cities: Calgary and coming up, The Art of Leadership in Vancouver (September 30th).
