What advice would you give to someone going into a leadership position?
Well, you really have to enjoy it. It is such an honor to serve and being asked to lead.
The most important thing that I have found is, you really never know what the job really is until you start doing it so it's really important to seek out people that have done the job, the people that have been on the team that you're going to be joining and find out what really is your responsibility.
For example, the more senior that each of us get and the responsibilities that we accept - the most important thing that we do is hold ourselves and our team accountable for a plan to create value with our organization.
